Maingate West Orlando

Maingate West Resort near Disney World is home to some of the nicest hotel rooms in near Disney World. This Kissimmee hotel used to be the Holiday Inn Maingate West; however, back in 2006 the hotel owners tried to sell the hotel rooms for $65,000 each. The theory behind trying to sell the hotel rooms was to capitalize on the ever growing real estate boom happening in Orlando during that time. Now you can only imagine selling a 500 square foot hotel room for $65,000 the amenities and WOW factor these rooms have to have to grab that amount of money.

Each room at the Kissimmee Maingate West Resort have granite counter tops, 42” Plasma TV’s, brand new queen sized beds, and beautiful wood bookshelves. Everything in these rooms is brand new, from the paint on the walls to the new carpet on the floors. In addition, the entire hotel has also been upgraded as well with a brand new restaurant, newly remodeled front desk and lobby area, plus newly landscaped lawns.

The Maingate West Hotel is only 1.5 miles to the entrance to Disney World, and it is a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel. The hotel offers free shuttle service to all the Disney parks as well as 2 great swimming pools for the guest to enjoy. We had a little hard time trying to find the Maingate West Resort when we came to town since the hotel just changed names to the Baymont, but once we got in our room and got settled we had a ball. Thanks for setting us up with such a nice hotel.

We stayed at the Maingate West Resort when it was the Holiday Inn Maingate West Resort a little over two years ago, and we decided to stay there again. My wife and I were really surprised at the updates they had done to the room, and the common areas... super nice.
