The reasoning is simple, there are so many hotels near Disney World that the competition is fierce and prices are much lower than anywhere else in the city. Here are 3 areas you might want to look at when choosing an Orlando hotel:
1. Lake Buena Vista- This is the newest area which has been developed around Disney World, and since the Lake Buena Vista hotels are newer they are going to be a little more expensive but not by much, probably only $10 to $15 more per night as compared to Kissimmee hotels. The Lake Buena Vista area boost all the major name brand hotels such as: Holiday Inn, Best Western, Extended Stay Suites, Radission etc. The average nightly price for Lake Buena Vista hotels ranges from $55 a night to $110 per night.
2. Kissimmee Hotels- Kissimmee was the first area which was developed when Disney World was built. In fact, most Kissimmee hotels are located on highway 192 which runs right by Disney World. The Kissimmee hotels are a little cheaper than Lake Buena Vista hotels, but they are older. One of the best ways to know the quality of a Kissimmee hotel is to look for the Disney Good Neighbor Hotel Seal. This is a seal of approval by Disney World that these hotels offer nice accommodations. Kissimmee hotel rates range from $40 a night to $100 a night.
3. Disney Hotels- If you want to stay as close to the parks as possible then you will want to stay at a hotel on Disney World property. This is the most expensive of the options, but these hotels do offer the Disney dining plans and free transportation to all the parks every thirty minutes. The rates at Disney owned hotels range from $110 a night up to $500 a night.

Welcome aboard the Ramada

We recently added the Ramada Resort on Parkway Blvd. to our growing list of properties we represent. The Ramada was recently re-opened in April of 2008 after being after operating under the Hyatt Regency name for close to 10 years. The hotel is only 65 seconds to the main entrance to Disney World, and they offer Free shuttle service to all the Disney parks.

We are going to be offering our guests double rooms, king rooms, as well as suites. The hotel offers our guests the following amenities: three great swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, kids playground, huge lobby with pool tables, and a great restaurant.

The Ramada is perfect for the family looking for the perfect Disney World vacation for a long weekend, and they do not want to spend a lot of money on their lodging.
